Mark was very thorough throughout the entire process. He caught small and minor things that a person off the street would never have caught. Mark took the time to explain maintenance for various systems, as well as ensure all systems worked properly and provide safety to home owner. As an FYI, the stove was not functioning due to the breaker burning out. You were correct in your assessment the box needed to be expanded for everything running off of it. The electrician fixed the breaker but said it would continue to happen unless the box was expanded. The seller agreed to expand the box as recommended and split the cost. Again, your assessment was dead on.

Here's a follow-up to the inspection Mark did for us. The items Mark found and documented in his report were all completely factual. He also provided rough estimates of the costs to remediate the major things he found. The estimates enabled our agent to draft a realistic request for credits upon the house closing. The reality is that Mark's inspection has saved us from making an expensive mistake. Had we went forward and purchased the property as is, it would have cost several thousand dollars just to bring the home up to standard. Thanks once again to Mark for pointing out the deficiencies and providing realistic estimates of the costs to remediate. My daughter will be using Mark once again when she finds another suitable home."

I feel John went beyond what was expected and/or required by the Inspection process. We left the inspection with a very comfortable feeling that any and all issues were identified. As an FYI, the stove was not functioning due to the breaker burning out. You were correct in your assessment the box needed to be expanded for everything running off of it. The electrician fixed the breaker but said it would continue to happen unless the box was expanded. The seller agreed to expand the box as recommended and split the cost. Again, your assessment was dead on.

Good experience. Mark found many areas of note regarding the house that the owner was not even aware of. Here's a follow-up to the inspection Mark did for us. The items Mark found and documented in his report were all completely factual. He also provided rough estimates of the costs to remediate the major things he found. The estimates enabled our agent to draft a realistic request for credits upon the house closing. The reality is that Mark's inspection has saved us from making an expensive mistake. Had we went forward and purchased the property as is, it would have cost several thousand dollars just to bring the home up to standard. Thanks once again to Mark for pointing out the deficiencies and providing realistic estimates of the costs to remediate. My daughter will be using Mark once again when she finds another suitable home."
